The journey of Ghazi Shehadeh, a Syrian man who embarked on a pilgrimage to the Holy Kaaba in Makkah on his bicycle, came to a tragic end on the outskirts of the holy city. Shehadeh, who had been documenting his journey on social media, passed away before reaching his final destination.
Shehadeh’s journey began in Germany, where he had been residing. He set out on his bicycle, determined to reach the Holy Kaaba and perform the pilgrimage. He documented his journey on social media, sharing his experiences and thoughts with his followers.
As Shehadeh reached near Makkah, he unfortunately fell ill and was unable to complete his journey. Despite receiving medical attention, he passed away on the outskirts of the city.
Shehadeh’s funeral was held in Masjid al-Haram, the Grand Mosque in Makkah, where he was buried in the nearby Mualla cemetery. The news of his passing has touched many, with condolences pouring in from around the world.
