Careem, a popular ride-hailing service in Pakistan, has announced plans to launch a new women-driven motorbike service exclusively for its female customers on International Women’s Day. The service will initially start in Karachi and expand to other cities in the country. Women who are interested in working as a female captain and seeking flexible income opportunities can register for the service. The service includes two models, part-time (5 hours) and full-time (10 hours), with a monthly payment guarantee of Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000, respectively. Careem is offering female motorbike captains 0% commission, bonuses, guarantees, and priority access to its safety and security helpline. Interested women can visit Careem opportunity centers or the Careem Captain Facebook page. The new service aims to provide affordable, safe, and reliable transportation for Careem’s large female customer base, especially for office and university goers. It also empowers women by offering them flexible income opportunities and enabling them to take control of their futures. Careem’s new initiative aligns with its purpose of simplifying and improving people’s lives and empowering women in Pakistan.
